ReplyDeleteWe are awaiting the good news is enough---- for it to arrive makes a real clumsy sentence that a person who speaks English correctly, well would not say!(I didn't say native English speaker, just a very good English speaking person)We're waiting for the good news is even better. Awaiting is slightly pretentious in this context.
